Critic's Corner
In the critic's corner bands or entertainers are judged in six categories. Musical ability, Stage presence, Stage appearance, Professionalism, Fan response, and finally Approachability. These categories are scored with musical notes, ♫. One ♫ being the lowest and five ♫♫♫♫♫ being the highest. The finial rating is the average of the six categories.
Key to rating system:
♫♫♫♫♫: Excellent in all categories, don't miss the next available show these guys have. They rock, they roll, they move, they groove, they have what it takes to receive headliner billing. I wouldn't want to be the band to follow these guys on stage you may be booed off.
♫♫♫♫: Good all around band, I would drive to see them again, might even pay a few bucks to see them again. I would recommend them to my friends, and even buy a CD if they were available.
♫♫♫: Only average, Probably would go see them again if it's not a long drive, or it's free or other bands were playing also. If I missed them I probably would not complain too much, and if I saw them I probably would not brag too much about it either. Maybe OK to open for a five note band.
♫♫: These guys need a little help in an area or three. After a beer or twelve in the beer garden they may sound pretty good. Don't pack a lunch you won't be staying that long.
♫: They suck!!!! Not much more to say.
